We Rode 500km Across Thailand For Charity

Why Hands Across The Water

I believe that business owners have a profound opportunity to make a positive impact in the world. Without businesses making a decision to be a force for good in the world there is a lack of resources, research and innovation to make positive change. When businesses engage in philanthropy, resources are unlocked to make changes in the world at a rapid rate. And that’s really at the heart of everything we do here at WodSites.

At Sites At Scale, the company that brings you WodSites, we want to help small businesses to grow and inspire them to use that as an opportunity to make a positive impact in the world.

As part of that mission I love to try and find opportunities to raise money for the causes I believe in. For me it’s helping children.

That’s been something that has been important to me for as long as I can remember. All the way back to when I worked as a Youth Pastor and Chaplain at Victory Christian College from just 18 years of age.

The Charity Bike Ride

In 2018 I had the amazing opportunity of joining 50 other entrepreneurs from Business Blueprint (my business coaching community) on a 500KM Bike Ride across Thailand to raise money for Hands Across The Water.

Riding around up to 120KM a day in the brutal Thai heat was challenging to say the least. But it was all worth it when we rode into the orphanage to meet the kids that we had been riding for.

Since the Business Blueprint community began raising money for Hands Across The Water 5 years ago we have been able to raise almost $2,000,000 for their great cause.
